I am Katie Beswick, an award-winning writer and academic.
My writing spans scholarship, poetry, fiction and journalism. I like to write between and across these forms. Recurring themes include class, housing, urban space, desire and hip hop. I almost always write in relation to art and culture, particularly theatre and performance.
I currently work at Goldsmiths, University of London, where I am Programme Director for BA Arts Management. I have previously held posts in drama, theatre and performance departments at UAL, University of Exeter, Queen Mary University of London, and the University of Leeds.
